Getting ready for your next event

Before registering for an event, make sure to talk to your instructor or Master for the appropriate recommendation. Once your child earns a yellow belt, they will be ready for sparring training, and sparring gear will be available for purchase. The Master may also offer sparring gear to lower belts who have demonstrated the necessary skills.

TIPS FOR PARENTS

  • Competitions are exciting and full of adrenaline, and sometimes a little bit chaotic. If this is your first competition please have in mind that we strongly recommend our athletes to support each other during the entire competition, but this could be exhausting for little kids, so please plan accordingly for you and your family members.
  • Plan accordingly for snacks and food as sometimes the options available nearby are not healthy choices.
  • We strongly promote independence, but is important to help your kid check the competition list twice.
